It’s Like Falling in Love Again…

Chad and I spent all Sunday {last week} out and about exploring what Louisville had to offer. We went to the Speed Art Museum {but I didn’t bring my camera in, for thoughts that it wasn’t allowed} and boy, did I wear the wrong shoes! It was really interesting though, and we had a good time looking at art and all sorts of things included in the Museum. Last weekend they featured some of Monet’s original work! I thought that was pretty cool.

My feet were so sore at one point because of the hard sandal I was wearing and the marble floor that didn’t give with my steps. I found myself sitting on a bench and viewing art whenever I could. I was actually mistaken for a statue by one couple proclaiming in slightly louder than a whisper, “She can’t be real, she is just too beautiful…” When they walked up to “look” at me, I moved to see who was standing in front of me, and they kind of got embarassed and the woman had to explain herself. It was cute, and flattering! I guess I was enjoying this really large piece of art for such a long time, I was still enough to look statuesque… πŸ™‚

Anyways, we went riverside and saw what there was to see. We ate outside on the balcony of Joe’s Crab shack and spent hours after that on the river in the park. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed each other’s company more than we thought was possible! We even kicked off our sandals a few times and laid in the grass! By the end of the evening, we couldn’t stop saying how much we enjoyed each other that day! β™₯β™₯ It was like falling in love again! πŸ™‚

Here are a few pictures from our day. We are 31+ weeks here… Baby Phoenix’s arrival is just around the corner!

The little green roof is Joe’s where we ate on the balcony
and enjoyed a cajun steampot in the hot weather!
Chad took this. I think the water’s reflection under the bridge
is super cool!
Testing out my new zoom lens…

So happy to be spending some quality one-on-one time
with my babe!

To Chad:
You are my strength

my sunshine
my treasure
my world
my crush
my everything
my heart’s desire
you are my greatest love.
