Feeling Poetic – The Opening Door

I’ve been knocking on doors

No one is listening

They’re ignoring my rap.

The wind blows by

The trees litter their needles

A shiver rolls down my spine.

My feet find direction

One then the other.

left. right. left… right.

Hands stuffed in pockets

One comes out for another

RapΒ at the door.

Someone is listening.

  1. sounds as f u are feeling a little lonely…but always know God is listening to ur knock and call..he understands ur hearts cry even when it is silent..love u…

    1. Nope, I’m not lonely. I was just browsing my stock photography for some interesting images that I could interpret. And in poetry, it’s always proper to address the season it is, and in Florida when this door image was taken, it was windy and chilly. So I just stuck to that since it was true to my memory. πŸ™‚

Neat little piece isn’t it? It feeds my poetic and photographic artistry. πŸ™‚
